The Charlotte Hornets are in affiliation with the Greensboro Swarm. Their first-ever logo was an anthropomorphic hornet that was purple and teal in color and had white shoes and gloves on while dribbling an orange-colored basketball. They previously played their home games in the arena of Charlotte Coliseum from 1988 till 2002 and also from 2004 till 2005. Hugo the Hornet is the mascot of the franchise at present.
