FAQs

VIP Tickets Canada - Frequently Asked Questions.

Why are my tickets priced above/below face value?

One thing to note concerning ticket prices on VIPTicketsCanada.ca is that they aren't always predictable. Our screened third-party vendors set the prices on the tickets they list on our site, and these prices vary depending on several factors, including ticket demand, competition between vendors, time remaining before the event, and of course the event itself! This means that tickets on our site could be listed for prices that are below or above the face value of the ticket (what it sells for on the primary marketplace). If you don't like the price you see, check back again later and the price might fluctuate (but know you might risk losing the tickets altogether, especially if the event is popular!).

What are your hours?

Our Customer Service and Sales Department operates 7 days a week, from 6 am-1 am EST. You can give us a call between these hours at 1-800-688-9009, or email us at any time at [email protected]. Our website is live 24/7!

Why is there a service fee on my invoice?

Every ticket bought on VIPTicketsCanada.ca comes with an additional service fee. This fee is what we charge as a company for the service we provide of offering loyal customers access to such a large ticket inventory from reliable, secure ticket vendors from across Canada and the United States. Although we understand that service fees can be frustrating, they are what allow us to keep our marketplace running smoothly, guarantee every ticket on our site, provide great customer service, and continue to hire fantastic and reliable employees.

What is the difference between a Ticket Exchange and a Ticket Broker?

A ticket exchange (like VIP Tickets Canada) is a registered, licensed company that compares all available tickets on the secondary market for a given event. A ticket broker is a licensed company that purchases select tickets for an event for the purpose of resale. In short, ticket exchanges act as marketplaces to connect customers searching for great deals with a large selection of vendors (ticket brokers) that hold significant ticket inventories. Customers can use ticket exchanges to compare ticket prices and find the best tickets for their budget! The third-party ticket broker will then fulfill the order (send the tickets to the customer), and the ticket exchange will charge an additional fee for their services.

Note: A ticket scalper is not a ticket broker. A ticket broker will have a valid business license and any other regional or national licenses required to operate as a registered company. None of the tickets listed on VIPTicketsCanada.ca are held by ticket scalpers.

What is the Secondary Ticket Market and and how does it differ from a Primary Ticket Marketplace?

A primary ticket marketplace is one where tickets are being sold for the first time. The tickets are sold at a price referred to as “face value”, meaning the price was set by the event provider. There is also often an additional fee that is charged on top of the face value price by the ticket marketplace. Ticketmaster is the best known example of a primary ticket marketplace. A secondary ticket marketplace is one where tickets are being resold. The tickets could have previously been bought from a primary marketplace, or they could be tickets that are available for sale only to ticket brokers (examples of this include pre-sale tickets or tickets from contracts with venues). VIP Tickets Canada is a secondary ticket marketplace.

What types of payment do you accept?

VIP Tickets Canada accepts VISA, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, and any Debit/Bank card bearing one of these logos.

Are the prices shown per ticket or per pair of tickets?

All prices shown on our ticket pages are per ticket.

Will my seats be together?

We guarantee that your seats will be together as long as they are bought together, unless it is otherwise stated on the checkout page.

Are there any returns, exchanges, or cancellations?

All sales made from VIP Tickets Canada online or by phone are final. If the concert or event is postponed, the purchased tickets will be honoured for the new event date. If the concert or event is cancelled, we recommend that customers contact the third-party ticket broker listed on their invoice if they are not automatically refunded in 5-10 business days. Service fees are also refunded in the case of an event cancellation only. Any shipping charges are not refundable.

Please Note: Since VIP Tickets Canada is not the ticket vendor (and hence does not hold ticket inventory), we will not be able to issue you a refund in the event of a cancellation; this must be done by the ticket broker, which is listed on your invoice.

You can read more about our policies here.

There are 48 hours or less remaining until my event; Can tickets still be delivered?

Ticketfast Tickets and E-Tickets can often be purchased and delivered to you via email mere hours before an event. However, if you are buying hard tickets (a.k.a. paper tickets), you need to leave a little more time for delivery. We offer overnight delivery ($20) and Express Saver delivery ($15) for most of the tickets sold on our site. Be sure you review any additional notes or exceptions that pertain to your tickets and their delivery before purchasing.

Can you combine shipping on multiple orders?

It is not always possible, but we will combine shipping on multiple orders if it is available.

When will my tickets ship?

Your tickets will ship on or before the listed Estimated Ship Date. Make a note to review this before your purchase so you know when to expect them. As part of our 100% money-back guarantee, we guarantee that your tickets will arrive in time for the event, or your money back!

Do my tickets come with a guarantee?

Yes! We have a 100% guarantee on every ticket sold from VIP Tickets Canada, online or by phone. We guarantee that your tickets will be authentic, will arrive on time, and that your seats will be together - or your money back!

Why is my invoice in US Dollars?

We at VIP Tickets Canada pride ourselves in being a Canadian company, striving to bring the best ticket inventory to Canadian customers. However, we rely on a third party for some of our software needs. Prices will usually be in USD on your invoice. This is because several of our third-party ticket vendors only sell and list tickets in USD. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause!
