Calgary-born twin sisters Tegan and Sara Quin have been writing and performing music together since their high school days. Tegan and Sara caught the attention of Canadian music fans in 1999, when they were signed to Neil Young’s Vapor Records label. The duo grew in popularity with the release of several albums in the early 2000’s and had gained widespread international success by 2007.
